Document Overview:

This Acknowledgement of Service can be used as confirmation that documents were served on a person.

The acknowledgement is prepared by the party serving the documents (or their lawyer) and must include a list of all the documents being served.

This form is designed to generate the prescribed form for the:

➲ Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia; or

➲ Family Court of Western Australia; but it can also be used to

➲ Generate a draft Acknowledgement of Service for use in other Courts so long as you contact our legal team so that we can ensure the correct prescribed form (if applicable) for the relevant Court is used, and it is correctly filed at the relevant Court registry (if required).

⚖️ Embedded Lawyer-Logic™ dynamically adapts to your answers to provide valuable guidance and help you avoid errors.

Checklist for Service of Documents:

✅ The person serving documents by hand must give a copy of the documents and the Acknowledgment of Service to the person to be served.

✅ They must ask the person to be served to add in the date they were served and sign the Acknowledgment of Service at Part C.

✅ The acknowledgement is to be signed by the party that is served the documents (or their lawyer) in confirmation that they received the documents listed.

✅ If the person to be served does not take the documents, the person serving may put it down in the presence of the person to be served and tell the person what it is.

✅ The server must complete an Affidavit of Service and attach the Acknowledgment of Service and return the documents to the applicant.

Note: If your matter is in the Family Court of Western Australia you will need to use this alternate Affidavit of Service.

✅ Once the Acknowledgment of Service is returned to the applicant it must be filed.

✅ An Acknowledgment of Service for either the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia or the Family Court of Western Australia can be filed on the Commonwealth Courts Portal.

See How do I eFile? and go to the Affidavit and other supporting documents section.

Note: If your matter is in the Family Court of Western Australia you will need to eFile via the eCourts Portal of Western Australia.

Meeting with James was a pleasure, I experienced something truly exceptional, and I can't help but share my enthusiasm through this review. The service I received was impeccable. James was not only highly professional but also genuinely friendly, making me feel like a valued client throughout that moment. He was very knowledgeable and provided me with valuable information. His attention to detail was not limited, yet without sacrificing substance for style. In conclusion, our meeting provided an unforgettable experience, and the knowledge that I received was something truly remarkable. Highly recommended.

Thanks for this FREE Titan Lawyer [AI] Demo, I think it was a useful and impressive exercise. Output: There was nothing in the output that I would disagree with. It has correctly identified some lack of specifics (which was on purpose due to the intra-group context). No hallucinations. There is no deficiency in the terms that Titan Lawyer failed to see. But on the other hand, I do not know what I don't know ...

Titan Lawyer [AI] Demo Use case: In terms of workflow and getting something back that is actionable, I think this works. It would support me in turning around the document. Would like to play with it some more if I can think of documents and use cases to throw at it.

James has been great to work with. I called him on a Monday and by Tuesday he had a formal [19-Page] Concerns Notice sent to a person defaming me and my business. He stayed in touch throughout the day, kept me updated regularly and was diligent to ensure we were exercising all of my rights under the law. Thanks, James!
